Job Title 2: Senior Director or VP (based in Shanghai 上海)
Description:
1. Lead a team of 6 organic chemists working on API synthesis and optimization; effectively manage day-to-day lab operations. (负责领导实验团队进行高效有序的研发)
2. Design and develop scalable synthetic route for intermediates and APIs. Help to address issues existing from lab to pilot plant scale of process as well as eventual commercialization under cGMP. (中试工艺优化)
3. Project management: propose, plan and monitor projects, prepare and review project reports and communicate effectively with company management/partners and clients. (有效的项目管理，合理的计划性，负责设计、执行和协调实验；及时评估阶段性工作目标)

Requirements:
1. Strong process chemistry or organic synthesis background. Prefer a Ph.D. in organic chemistry. At least 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in USA, in the fields of synthesis, process development and/or API manufacturing technology. (有扎实的有机合成功底，最好有全合成或中试工艺背景; 有机化学博士)
2. An in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes. Ideally, the candidate has working experience in top pharmaceutical companies or held a managerial role in leading CMO organizations.
3. Working knowledge of US FDA and Chinese SFDA drug regulations and cGMP.
4. Global generic drug company experience in manufacturing and management preferred.
5. Special skills of developing processes for high potent drugs preferred.
6. Good communication and management skills.

Senior Director/Director of Medicinal Chemistry

Ideal candidates are individuals with a Ph.D. degree in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry with at least 8
years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry. A good track record of scientific
achievements in organic/medicinal chemistry is a must. Broad experiences and familiarity with small
molecule drug targets are desired. In addition, strong leadership and communication skills are required
for this job position.

Responsibility: Project management, including chemist recruitment and professional development,

Vice President of Biology

An Ideal candidate is a successful individual with a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry or molecular

in projects. In addition, this person is responsible for biology department�s resource allocation,
recruitment and the professional development.

Vice President/Senior Director of DMPK

An ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in Pharmacokinetics, or related field with a minimum of 8
years of industrial experience in the evaluation of small molecules as drug candidates. The ability to
demonstrate excellent knowledge in PK and drug metabolism principles is a must. The candidate is also
required to have working experience and proficiency with HPLC and LCMS instrumentation and to be
familiar with laboratory techniques such as in vitro/in vivo metabolism and PK experiments, as well as
bioanalysis of drugs.

Responsibility: Planning and overseeing DMPK-related research and drug discovery activities to execute
departmental strategies, and closely working with business development personnel to bring in projects.
In addition, this person is responsible for the department�s resource allocation, recruitment and the

professional development.

Vice President/Senior Director of Formulation

An accomplished and innovative individual with a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics with at least 8 years
of hands on working experience. and/or at least 5 years of experience in project management. The
candidate must have a demonstrated record of accomplishments in formulation development of
solid and liquid oral dosage forms from initial phase to scale up for technical transfers. Additional
experience with other dosage forms will be an added asset. Problem solving ability and adept handling

candidate will guide the customer through the sales process and take responsibility along with sales
personnel for a successful sale. Finally, the candidate will remain connected to our customers after
the sale by providing technical guidance on the application of the product, and work to anticipate their
future needs. This may include direct contact, writing white papers and application notes, amongst
other customer touch points.

The candidate will be part of the Applications Team, whose work is integrated with the Sales Team. The
Applications Team consists of members from a variety of technical and sales development backgrounds,
and is deeply experienced in the instrumentation field. The Team will provide training and immersion
for the successful candidate so that they can grow at an appropriate rate into their role.

The successful candidate is expected to have a Bachelor�s Degree with a demonstrated capability to
perform technical sales. This requires either 1-3 years of experience in such a role or personal attributes
and technical knowledge that would indicate success in this role. Attributes such as written and verbal
communication skills, strong technical capabilities and potential for selling are key criteria for this role.
