Call for Application to Join US Delegation to 2009 Wuhan Huachuanghui Bioforum - June 28-29


CABA (Chinese-American BioMedical Association, based in Boston, MA) is working with other Chinese-American professional organizations including CBA (Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association, based in Washington DC), CABS (Chinese-American Biopharmaceutical Society, headquartered in San Francisco, CA), SABPA (Sino-American Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Professionals Association, headquartered in San Diego, CA) and others to form a delegation to attend the 9th Hua-Chuang-Hui in Wuhan (Business and Investment conference of Overseas Chinese Engineers and Scholars).

Hua-Chuang-Hui (华创会) focuses on business opportunities in high-tech fields including Biotech/Pharma. To learn more details about Hua-Chuang-Hui, please go to www.hch.org.cn.

Location: Wuhan (武汉香格里拉大饭店, 武汉科技会展中心)

Time: June 28-29, 2009

Optional: The delegation is also invited to participate in a few related events in other cities around the same time.

Who can apply: Scientists who are seeking opportunities to turn your business ideas into reality in China. CABA are responsible for collecting business proposals in the areas of biotechnology/pharmaceuticals/medical devices, and forming the delegation. The local meeting expenses will be covered by the meeting organizers (国务院侨办, 湖北省政府, 武汉市政府, 湖北省药监局, 武汉国家生物产业基地). If you are interested, please fill in the attached form in Chinese to include a short biosketch (1 paragraph) and a brief summary of your business proposal (1/2 - 1 page).
