CABA (Chinese-American BioMedical Association, based in Boston, MA) and CBA (Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association, based in Washington DC) are forming a delegation to attend the 8th Hua-Chuang-Hui in Wuhan (Business and Investment conference of Overseas Chinese Engineers and Scholars). Two other US-based Chinese professional organizations, CABS (Chinese-American Biopharmaceutical Society, headquartered in San Francisco, CA) and SABPA (Sino-American Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Professionals Association, headquartered in San Diego, CA) will also participate.

Hua-Chuang-Hui (华创会) focuses on business opportunities in high-tech fields including Biotech/Pharma. To learn more details about Hua-Chuang-Hui, please go to www.hch.org.cn.

Location: Wuhan (武汉香格里拉大饭店, 武汉科技会展中心)

Time: June 28-29, 2008

Optional: The delegation is also invited to participate in a few related events in other cities including Zhen Jiang, Chang Chun and Shi Jia Zhuang around the same time. Please contact Yihan Wang for further information if interested.

Who can apply: Scientists who are seeking opportunities to turn your business ideas into reality in China. CABA and CBA are responsible for collecting business proposals in the areas of biotechnology/pharmaceuticals/medical devices, and forming the delegation. The local meeting expenses will be covered by the meeting organizers (国务院侨办, 湖北省政府, 武汉市政府, 武汉市药监局). If you are interested, please fill in the attached form in Chinese to include a short biosketch (1 paragraph) and a brief summary of your business proposal (1/2 - 1 page).
