Shujia Dai

Dr. Shujia (Daniel) Dai is a Principal Research Investigator at Sanofi-Aventis.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy in Japanese from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 2000, and Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry from Beijing Institute of Radiation Medicine in 2005.  Then he started postdoctoral research work in the Barnett Institute at the Northeastern University (NEU), Boston, MA, developing novel technologies for the detection of posttranslational modifications in proteins and quantitative proteomics for biological studies of varied diseases.  Dr. Dai had served as a Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Research Assistant Professor at NEU from 2007-2013.  Then, Dr. Dai joined the Biochemistry and Bioanalytics group of Oncology at Sanofi-Aventis, Cambridge MA.  Since 2013, Dr. Dai has served as a Senior Research investigator to the present position, working on the drug on/off target identification, biomarker discovery, drug mechanism of action, comprehensive protein characterization using novel mass spectrometry and bioinformatics derived technologies.
